Vintage pair of Eero Saarinen designed “Womb” chairs manufactured by Knoll Associates. Purchased from an estate these chairs date back to the late 1950’s. Both chairs were recovered at some point by Knoll (possibly late 1970’s). Chair are in excellent condition. Cushions on both chairs are soft an comfy. Chairs offered as completely usable vintage condition. If you prefer new upholstery you may appreciate our Knoll Authorized professional re-upholstery services available using your fabric or leather.
Another rarity these days… Early 1950’s Fiberglas Chairs by Douglas in excellent condition. The exposed fibers are a delight. This unusual shape has often been overlooked by those hot on the Herman Miller trail which make this type of Fiberglas chair harder and harder to find. Fiberglas Chair (and cool) collectors rejoice!
Gorgeous winding Herman Miller Sofa designed by Don Chadwick circa 1975. This set was removed from Citibank in NYC in 1980 and has lived in Vermont ever since. Fabric and foam in excellent condition.
The sofa consists of 10 pieces (I was unable to picture all pieces together. )
6 Straight pieces
4 Inside curves
One of the inside curves is a different fabric. I have been told this was common when the sofa came out to add a different color/textured piece to add interest.
