Circa 1959 Mid Century Modern cocktail table designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for Drexel’s “Declaration” collection. One of the most sought after styles from the American Mid Century Modern era. Embodying clean Scandinavian lines and all walnut construction with circular rosewood pattern inlaid on the top surface. In near perfect condition.
Sweet mid century one of a kind coffee table c. 1950’s made in Pennsylvania at a Casket Factory. The table was a gift from a brother to his brother and new family. The gifting brother ran the casket making operation. The table is nearly perfect and constructed from solid 1″ thick oak. Hairpin legs are heavy and perfect.
Rarely do I find a desk of this vintage in such outstanding condition. Desks get used; a lot. This one, another new arrival to the U.S., seems to be frozen in the 1950’s with very little signs of wear. Pulled directly from a Danish estate this Kai Kristiansen Bow front floating tray top desk is in a class of it’s own. No chips or nicks on the tray. Drop down bar front with mirror back and drop down storage cabinet with two drawers add to the overwhelming awesomeness of this desk. Six drawers; two with keyed locks.
