Super soft but super manly this vintage Mogensen love seat in excellent original condition and recently imported to the USA from jolly ol’ Denmark. Supple black leather and softy down filled cushion make for a comfy seating. Make a statement.
Vintage pair of Eero Saarinen designed “Womb” chairs manufactured by Knoll Associates. Purchased from an estate these chairs date back to the late 1950’s. Authentic, rarefied, cherished set of 8 CH-24 or “Wishbone” Chairs designed by Hans J Wegner and produced by Carl Hansen & Son, Denmark. This set of chairs were produced in 1950, imported and recently received as part of an estate of a late Oil Company Executive. Pulled from the minimally used summer home located on the serene shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. The set is matched and in excellent, unrestored, minimally used condition.
Unmistakable lines mark this gorgeous piece of design from Sweden. This is the Model 41 or “Eva” chair designed in 1934 by Bruno Mathsson. Original leather strapping that still holds up. Chair is in outstanding original condition. Leather has been reinforced in two places under the seat but does not show. Wood is excellent with light expected wear. Signed. Sweet.
An estate piece from Vermont, this Hans Wegner CH-25 Chair was originally manufactured in Denmark and then imported through Germany by a G.I.in the early 1950’s. A rare find in rural vermont. Gorgeous oak and patina. Some wear as to be expected but overall beautiful and complete with out a single cord broken or frayed.
Picked from the estate of a long time Dartmouth Professor is a rare formation of the iconic Kofod Larsen / Selig Danish Modern Sofa. 4 seater or use in corner with lamp table for a sectional treat. In excellent original condition with original Fagas straps. Replacement cushions and fabric are quite usable. I suggest an authentic fabric re-upholstery job. Sweet. c. 1950’s
I normally don’t jump at an opportunity for this Kroehler type 1950’s stuff but I used to and I know there are still those of you who will swoon over the lines, color, shinyness, etc. of this crisp, clean beautiful little baby. Estate found in plastic. In a room that no one went in to. In a house that no one used. In a world that… well, you get the drift.
Another rarity these days… Early 1950’s Fiberglas Chairs by Douglas in excellent condition. The exposed fibers are a delight. This unusual shape has often been overlooked by those hot on the Herman Miller trail which make this type of Fiberglas chair harder and harder to find. Fiberglas Chair (and cool) collectors rejoice!
Gorgeous winding Herman Miller Sofa designed by Don Chadwick circa 1975. This set was removed from Citibank in NYC in 1980 and has lived in Vermont ever since. Fabric and foam in excellent condition.
The sofa consists of 10 pieces (I was unable to picture all pieces together. )
6 Straight pieces
4 Inside curves
One of the inside curves is a different fabric. I have been told this was common when the sofa came out to add a different color/textured piece to add interest.
Stunning vintage Stouby sofa in black leather with original down cushions. Stouby is top of the line Danish construction and materials and it is no suprise that Borge Mogensen uses Stouby for his iconic sofas. This sofa is in outstanding condition and supple as the day the cow was murdered for his delicious insides and his luxurious outsides. Another recent import from Denmark.
